Phil was there to have a good time, he wasn't exactly playing the World Series of Poker main event, and I spent half the night talking an unreasonably absurd amount of trash talk to him.

Like, I bet like 400K, and he's like 2.4 million.

And I'm like, "What the fuck?" And I just ha- I have, like, second pair, right? And here's Phil Hellmuth, and I'm just like, "You know, fuck, he doesn't fucking have it." And you know, the board's something like king, 10, seven, four, or some shit, and I have, like, I have, like, ace, 10 or-

... a tiny bit pushback, you said, uh, y- you know, y- just a throwaway, you said Phil Hellmuth's such a nit.

Um, Phil Hellmuth Sr. passed away after a nine-month battle with cancer.

Um, and he shared, Phil Hellmuth shared that his father passed peacefully in his sleep, um, after the family had time to, to get together and say goodbye.

Which I'm really, really glad, because one of my favorite quotes or tidbits that I've read over the last several days is that Phil Hellmuth's father was so proud of all five of his kids for excelling in all of the areas that they chose.

Phil just happened to be one that was in front of a lot more people or on TV-

If you look at Phil Hellmuth going against someone that's inexperienced and he has pocket kings and the guy goes all in before the flop, he's not gonna go all in.

He's gonna fold his hand.

You know why? Because there's a shot that guy has a pair of aces underneath, and if he loses, he's done.

What Phil Hellmuth knows is if I, the more I play this guy, the more he has no shot.

Because he's not gonna beat me over the long haul because I'm just a much better player than him.

I'm not gonna let him get lucky.
