Uh, Richard Lugar, um, and, uh, I may have missed one.

But before we do that, since we've all been given an extra thirty seconds in our opening, let me say how proud I am to be here with all of my colleagues, who are the, uh, the best slate of candidates I've ever seen with the aforementioned governor of California excepted, and the courage that they've shown to, uh, either stay in the arena on a larger level or come into the arena.

Uh, I think it's unfair for a man who I've called a patriot all his life, Ross Perot, to suggest that this isn't a great Republican field.

I- I'm proud of everybody in this race, and I've got a comparison sheet which shows that if Phil Gramm is cool because he was conservative before it was cool, then I'm early man as a conservative because on everything that's loved by conservatives in an election year, I've been there.

Now, I would like anybody to tell me in those living rooms across America if they think we are not suffering advanced and accelerating moral decay, a meltdown of our culture, given not only the trial, the circus trial in Los Angeles or the Menendez brothers before that, but given Packwood in the Senate.

When Abdul Al-Sayed echoes this argument of it's not your kids, it's not my kids, it's all of our kids.

I am reminded of former Texas Senator Phil Graham, who was, I believe, running for president, was up in New Hampshire or something like that.

And some woman at a town hall insisted that she cared about Phil Graham's kids as much as he did.

And he did not believe that.

And they went back and forth until finally he said, what are their names? And unsurprisingly, the woman could not name them.
