That's only nine movies.

So we decided John Wick 2 was nominated for Best Picture that year as well.

Yeah, so I, so I basically asked her, I was like, "You know, you've, you've seen a few PTA movies with me.

Uh, did you like 'Phantom Thread' more than, um, than 'Magnolia'?" And she said yes.

She's like, "It, it was a lot easier to follow." She was like, "I think it, it works better as a movie." And she said, "The whole time I kept feeling like-" When is it gonna get into the drama a little bit? And I think she liked when the drama was turning up, but then when it gets a little surreal, she's like, "Well, that's not really working for me." Right?

You know? Like, you're, you're like, "Wow," like, "I feel com- very differently about him." And I think it's, it's...

It is-- I think it is a PTA thing where he's very good at taking these characters on long journeys.

I think that's true with "Phantom Thread" and that's very true with "There Will Be Blood." Um, so I think M- "There Will Be Blood" is maybe his greatest flex of, of that skill.
