I think we've heard some positive things about Xavier Lloris being able to help Oregon this season.

And then, you know, quite frankly, it sounds like Peyton Woodyard's a guy that's kind of carving at least kind of a niche role within this secondary as well.

I think there's a real chance that We see Oregon, at least in the games in which the Portland states of the world, the Oklahoma states of the world, probably the Illinois of the world, where Oregon's going to have such a superior advantage over their talent that we see kind of a continuous rotation of guys, almost more so not because that – It's a way to get some of these other guys reps and opportunities and develop them.

But at the same time, if you can limit the physical contact, you can limit the possible chance for a Finney or an Ify or a Koi Parrish to get hurt in these games, and it lowers the wear and tear of them.

Have you heard anything about Peyton Woodyard, Trey McNutt? I mean, it seems like those are two other guys.

Woodyard's a junior and McNutt's a sophomore.

But those are two other guys who, like, you know, they're being talked about.

So I think he's a guy that they like at that position.

I think like if I think Peyton Woodyard is another player that's gotten a lot of reps there through, through the fall.

Kind of a forgotten man.

I think we'll talk about him more when we talk about the deep safeties.

But really smart physical player who does have a lot of positional versatility in the secondary, at least at the safety positions.

So I think if you were looking for a third star beyond the guys that we're already talking about, I would look no further than Peyton Woodyard.

And I think that Azel Benag is the young guy that's repping there the

most.

He is telling us those talented defenders are developing the habits that Oregon wants them to have, and we saw an example in the scrimmage.

Payton Woodyard is not a guy that I've been super high on for the last couple of years.

The length of time he's been at Oregon, not that it's been an incredibly long time, he was a 2024 four-star recruit who they flipped from Alabama after he left.

Uh, he was technically a transfer addition, but he never actually played or even practiced with Alabama because Saban left, DeBoer came in, and then Woodyard came to Oregon.
