It stars Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck, both of whom Lowery had worked with on his second feature, Ain't Them Bodies Saints, which was like a retelling of the Bonnie and Clyde story.

Lowry's got a fascinating career because between Ain't Them Body Saints and A Ghost Story, he makes Pete's Dragon for Disney, a contemporary update of that film, which I will say I quite liked it when I came out.

I saw that with my kids and I remember thinking that it was great.

And then after this film, A Ghost Story, he makes The Old Man and the Gun, which was Robert Redford's final leading role.

No, I mean, I think that's exactly it.

I mean, if you're, if, if this was a Hollywood pitch movie, I would tell you it's, uh, Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Pete's Dragon.

Mm-hmm.

You know?

Mm-hmm.

And I liked how in this, poor Britta couldn't use her hands 'cause she's a T-Rex, although she looked more like a Pete's Dragon type situation.

But, like, he was, you know, giving her her drinks.
