Kettering is very different to Kerala and Saudi Arabia.

It's in Northamptonshire in the Midlands of the UK and the closest cities are sort of like Peterborough and Northampton.

For any fans of the Off Menu podcast, Kettering is where James Acaster is from.

Solution found in bid to stop bus service being lost for two months.

A solution has been found which will prevent Bretton Centre in Peterborough from being left without a bus service for almost two months.

The bus stop at the centre was due to close between September the 1st and October the 25th for Cadent Gas to replace gas pipes in the area.

Residents raised concerns about losing access to bus services, with the alternative stops of Ayres Croft, Deerleap, and the City Hospital being located so far away.

Um, this is where I've been seen.

I've been probably seen at Angels Pole Dancing Club in Peterborough.

Fact.

This year, Russell was spotted in the Angels bar in Peterborough by dancer Amy Di Iori.

She told press that he paid for her private dances.

He then walked away to find a male dancer as Amy was too feminine for him.

And so the first part of the podcast, obviously, we were looking back at last weekend.

This time we are now looking forward to the weekend ahead, and it is the second round of pre-season fixtures for the life stack Milton Keynes Lightning, and it is a doubleheader against our old friends in Peterborough.

It is a classic Ashes derby.

This is the epitome of a pre-season not friendly.

It's going to be fireworks, going to be talking points.

It's going to be a good atmosphere.

Whether it's pre-season or a playoff game, Lightning versus Peterborough always delivers.

It really does.

It's just a different fuel type.

so yeah a couple of us who are on the journey we've got places we can stop off in Peterborough unfortunately we're all around the east of England so I can go to Corby I can go to Peterborough I know I've got friends around here that do the same journey none of my friends in Scotland are doing it yet don't know don't figure again it's that network it's that collaborative piece in our part of the industry and it will be that because as we all know from charging our cars and GridServe and Instavolt all do a great job at what they do and what they provide but it's horrendously expensive and when i commented back earlier where that price point is at a three not a nine or an eight as we see when we charge our cars it's never going to work you're never going to get a public charging network at the price it needs to be unless it's facilitated by the operator and to be honest it's been released already i'm already having conversations and agreements with large electric van fleets tier one operators and service providers that will use my cambridge and bedford depot to charge their vans because i can give it to them a lot cheaper than the public network And that's a great use case and example of how I think it's going to go.

We'll still make a bit of money and it will still be profitable all round, but you're half that public charging cost at least.

And that's the way it's going to have to go.

That kind of shaped me as a person as well.

And then came back down to Peterborough and then did a bit of kind of, I'm still working in Ipswich at the moment as well.

So back and forth between the two, but Peterborough is home for me.

Because I think we should explain to people, your company's called DentGo, and it's mobile, isn't it? So how does it work? And you're primarily based in the city centre, but you can go and see people and help them at their home or business or whatever.

If it's too complex, let's leave it, but let's at least... kind of see see the area so we went there and it was pretty much straightforward things it was a lost denture it was pain um that sort of thing and i was like you know what we can really help these people they don't have to put up with pain that they've had for kind of years and years and just had to kick the can down the road and that's where it initially started from so we had a meeting i built this dent go up there and like you already said we're based in city center that we often go out into different areas of Peterborough, yesterday alone we went to Breton and then we were also in Paston as well so it's always kind of a non-stop kind of thing there and then we also have our practice in the city centre so based in the city centre that's where our main practice is whenever we get called out depending on how far kind of the location if we can always drive to them whether it's 30 40 minutes depending on the location we could go to them.
