I love, love, love that movie.

And I would just counter my pick would be Peter Yates, The Friends of Eddie Coyle, just just because for a couple of reasons.

One, because it's set in Boston and it's kind of like a similarly miserable kind of Boston crime story.

A much better one, if you ask me.

He's got a lot more than just the famous ones.

That was the Bullet main title from the original motion picture soundtrack of the Bullet movie in 1968. a crime thriller directed by Peter Yates with a star-studded cast, headed by Steve McQueen, also featuring Robert Vaughn, Robert Duvall and the very young, very attractive Jacqueline Bessette.

She was always pretty.

I think we can all agree on that.

I'm going to follow his stuff.

You go to these movies, like when I saw Bullet with my mom, and I looked up Peter Yates, the director, and this became my thing.

And it was my entree into the world of film and how they were created and crafted.

But it was Sergio Leone that did it.

My dad worked on that movie at 20th Century Fox Studios.

Peter Yates, of course, producer and director.

Did they film it on site in Bloomington? They did.

Absolutely.

Who directed that? I never got along with that guy.

What is

Peter Yates? Because I went over and screen tested when I was very young in my early 20s and I went over to England.

And I'm going to explain it to people that don't know.

This is directed by Peter Yates, based on the book Mute Witness, which is a very different book, and we will talk about it, written by Robert Pike in 1963.

And it tells the story of Frank Bullitt, played by Steve McQueen, of course, who is tasked with taking care of a underworld crime boss that is going to turn state's evidence.

That person ends up dead.

And our first one is of course.

going to be Krull from 1983 because of course it is I know way too much about this movie directed by Peter Yates starring Ken Marshall Lizette Anthony I personally love this film it was actually one of the favorites for my youngest son too for whatever weird reason he absolutely loved this movie we used to act out the quicksand sequence I can't believe we're talking about it again well Let's go ahead and get our second film of the evening.
