Uh, like I said, uh, Peter's arc in this movie felt reminiscent to Spider-Man 2.

Uh, you know, powers being on the fritz, but except Peter 1's power was going through a transition, uh, and all that.

And like I said, uh, for a while I was always confused by why Jean was positioned as the antagonist, but it makes sense now.

In fact, you know what? Going back to, uh, that one scene that really pissed me off with, uh, when she mind-hopped into MJ's body.

Yeah Two, he's got the white eyes.

Then I'm going with Night Monkey because it's just a crappy noir rip-off

suit.

Yeah, it is budget noir.

Yeah, but he gets a gold trim on it from the nanotech.

Does he? Yeah, at the end of No Way Home, when he gets the nanotech back, it's put on that suit to give him more armour.

I'd put that then after Night Monkey.

This might is this gonna be a controversial on fire and fire.

Like, MJ brings up, like, you know, the DC trip and the Europe trip and things like that.

She even name drops Night Monkey.

Ha!

This is the fourth movie in the Tom Holland Spider-Man franchise.

Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, deals with the aftermath of the spell from No Way Home, where everyone forgot who Peter Parker was.

And he does this by delving deep into the life of Spider-Man.

But while mitigating this balance between his human and arachnid DNA, he must stop a mysterious mind-controlling villain who aims to retrieve something from the Department of Damage Control.

I like a lot of Cretton's previous work, including his early work on movies like Short Trip 12.

I think he just has a real knack for character, and that really, really came through for me in this movie, specifically with peter and his changing like his his evolution you know and i think that it's done really deftly you mentioned that we kind of go from the ending of no of no way home where everyone has forgotten him to kind of like a swift like four or five years later like like everyone's done with college like we're in like our early 20s era now um And it's done deftly.

It's done with a lot of nods to, you know, original kind of Spider-Man comics that I think is fun and doesn't feel too hokey or corny and just feels like you are building up to this point that we meet Peter at where he is kind of at a rock bottom, kind of at a, you know, a crossroads as Spider-Man and Peter Parker.

yeah i 100 agree with everything you said i i have gotten a lot of pushback from people in my life when saying this but i do think it's probably one of the best mcu movies they've ever made um and i it's one of the only mcu movies that like feels like you said it feels like a movie in a sense right like so many it doesn't feel like

It's got a nice ring to it, Sylvester Stallone.

It's like Peter Parker.
