Peter Newman

Yeah, Singapore has been a sort of leading case, leading light for a lot of us on the biophilic a biophilic city's world.

And I should say I've been many times now to Singapore and going back to, oh, 10, 12 years ago, I guess now, or 15 years ago, thanks to my colleague, Peter Newman at Curtin University in Western Australia, who for a number of years was teaching a class, a sustainable cities class at the National University there.

And he invited me and said, you know, Tim, we've been talking about biophilic cities.

you need to come to Singapore.

But with my role, I got transferred, uh, to start a new sustainable buildings division in Perth for Arup.

And I met a guy called Peter Newman, who, uh, he, um, ran the Curtin University Sustainable Policy Institute then.

He's this incredible, uh, person, a sort of distinguished Professor P- um, Newman.

Uh, he was the, an advisor to the government, and he's done a lot for sustainability in terms of, um, uh, really changing the paradigms for transportation in a lot of cities.
