Peter Graham

To celebrate further, we've got a couple of tributes from colleague Salvation Army composers who wish to share some of their thoughts on your music.

First up, we hear from Peter Graham, followed by Kevin Norbury.

Ken, as you celebrate your 80th birthday, I wanted to reflect briefly on the many ways your music has featured at different stages of my life.

Uh, my first encounter with your music was as a teenager when I was the singing company pianist at Ayr Corps, and I remember playing your song A Sunbeam, and soon afterwards hearing the exciting march, The Joy Bringer, using the same tune on an early ISB record that my father had bought.

Right.

So the composers listed are Steve Bulla, Brenton Broadstock, Eric Leitzen, Brian Bowen, Peter Graham, Vernon Post, Dorothy.

Who did I skip? Kevin Norbury.

Did I say that? Brian Bowen.

Number three slot.

Yeah.

Then I had Peter Graham.

Okay.
