But for those of us who heard the words long-term care five minutes ago, can you just tell us what long-term care is exactly?

It's interesting because when I first got into the business back in 1994, some 35 years ago, no one knew what long-term care was.

The way I think of it and the easiest explanation that I've come up with over 30 years is long-term care is the type of care people need who can no longer care for themselves.

I don't know that we have all the time in the world to get into the, the nuances.

When you talk about targets, for the most part, we're talking about proteins, and proteins in our world that are present, again, if we're thinking about central nervous system actions, loss of consciousness, and amnesia in particular, are the proteins of interest in the brain.

You can think about receptors as simply being a protein that will bind the relevant ligand, in this case, an, a general anesthetic, that then results in a structural transformation of that protein that then either lets ions flow through the channel if it's a ligand-gated channel, or alters the function of a voltage-gated ion channel in and of itself in some way, either by activating the channel and/or by blocking it in some form.

And to be fair, while we try to be very inclusive as to what we included in our analysis, there were one or two proteins that we did not include, most notably mitochondrial proteins, notably complex one in the electron transport chain.
