Peter Elbow

I'm not just saying it's mine.

I'm talking about like Peter Elbow, the writing teacher, when he said the first questions you should ask, is it me? Is it true? You know, is it real? You know, this is what kids should be asking themselves.

Not, will it get an A? Will I, you know, will it pass? Can I fake it?

But this is a different thing that I'm talking about.

But I also was writing my whole life, you know, because I had, when I was a trooper and I would write things and things happened and all like that.

And so the more I've done this, I do it every, I'm up every morning and I sit there with the dog and I use, you ever hear of Peter Elbow free writing?

Yes.

Yes.
