Peter Broderick

We are enjoying Justin Wright.

That is Drone Three, the extended rework that is found on a album where Peter Broderick, who's an incredibly talented pianist, uh, reworked Justin Wright's cello pieces for piano, but also included this longer drone, uh, extended rework on that as well.

So, uh, originally Justin released this piece in 2019.

The album is Music for Staying Warm and was, was probab- was one of my top albums of the year, that year.

We have got a really cool show for you this week.

You're about to listen to an interview with multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Peter Broderick.

He's one of Array's Tape's veteran recording artists and you might know him from his solo albums, film scores or collaborations with artists such as Niels Fram and rival consoles.

I discovered Peter's music through some of his early albums such as Flirt and Home, which mix elements of folk, neoclassical and minimalism.

You are hearing the songs over and over again.

So I've always listened to you and to be fair, a couple of other artists on Array's tapes and thought...

Is there something I wonder if he's into Nobuo Matsu is this just me putting two things together and then yeah imagine my surprise and delight when all of a sudden I get an email one day and it's a Peter Broderick now has this pseudonym the white mages and he's gonna be releasing a Final Fantasy cover album Thank you.

And not only that, most of the tracks on this Final Fantasy cover album are kind of like, I'd say the hidden gems.
