Peter Baxter

So my, my first day on the job, I got...

Peter Baxter gave me a stopwatch, silver stopwatch with a hand.

Yes.

At Lord's, Champions County against, against whoever it was, MCC.

But I hadn't commentated.

So Peter Baxter, I think very wisely, actually, They said, look, just sit beside the commentators and be a summarizer.

And Brian and I were so similar.

He was like my granddad, really.

It was just silence.

Silence.

And Peter Baxter came stomping up from behind.

And if you listen really carefully, you can hear him say, will somebody say something? In absolute frustration.
