A group of people at JCN, Mark Patterson, several residents and I did a survey that was published in 2012-ish of people that had practiced, been board certified for the first time from 2001 to 2010.

And then Peter Kang and I were involved in a project through the American Board of Pediatrics that was a workforce survey that also asked people what they thought would be the most useful.

So those three surveys that were published now about 10 years ago, I think formed a decent foundation for thinking about how to do it.

Who really moved this forward was Rachel Gottlieb-Smith and Danny Rogers through their leadership and the residency program directors.

I think maybe one of the most telling reasons that we understand about what has happened was the Kang at this, this workplace survey with Peter Kang and the AAP, because in that, when we asked the questions about what people thought about training, We also used as a regressor in the analysis, the number of years since board certification.

And so what it showed was the farther you were from board certification, the more you liked the way that you train the status quo in the adult year.
