Yeah, it is.

And these are the things that bring interest back into the sport, right? Like, I remember a time, particularly in the 90s, you know, when you had Andre Agassi and Michael Chang and Pete Sampras and on the women's side, you know, whether it was the Williams sisters, even as far back as Jennifer Capirotti.

Like, I remember just way back in the day, like...

i like we would watch fi like we would watch the whole tournament but the finals would be on nbc and you'd watch it on nbc and these are the sorts of things that they keep a sport you know that it's great to see a sport um having happen and represent

Andy Roddick was a winner there.

Finalist Ben Shelton helped put the sport once dominated by countrymen John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors and Pete Sampras back on the map.

And I would say that's probably true.

Viewership was pretty high.

You know what's weird about tennis? We remember the weapons.

Pete Sampras, that serve.

Roger Federer, the forehand.

Rafael Nadal, lefty topspin so heavy it should come with a warning label.

But Agassi's intelligence was deeper because he learned it.

It wasn't natural to him the way it was to Mats.

Pete's got the serve, the volleys, the forehand, everything's a weapon, and Agassi beats him twenty of their thirty-four matches, not by out-weaponing him, by taking those weapons away.

You know? Some like arch rivals or like, I don't know, like Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras or something.

Like, I don't know my tennis at all, but [laughs] like-

And, and, and during that time I played tennis, on and played tennis, played it very competitively, and it was so fun.

And we got to watch Pete Sampras, Michael Chang, Andre Agassi, like so m- And there's so many amazing legendary tennis players.

Right.

We've basically been in drought since then, 25 years.

It is like, I can tell you, growing up in the '90s-

But it ha- I mean, as the younger generation comes up who emotes differently than the older generation, since the dawn of time for tennis until, you know, Andre Agassi came around and Sampras or whatever, but it's mostly you win a shot and you do a little-

That's the thing.

I saw Agassi play Sampras.

When I went to the U.S. Open when I was a kid, I saw Agassi play Sampras in the final.
