Pete Fountain

I think they're both, I grew up three miles from French Quarter, south of the French Quarter.

I grew up walking the streets of the French Quarter, very young age, listening to Al Hurt, Pete Fountain, and old Dr. John's been around.

He just passed away not too long ago.

But all that music down there is just wonderful.

I would argue, I'd probably say I saw my first real concert at like four or five when my parents took me to like the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

And so, you know, I would have seen like Pete Fountain or, you know, any number of these like kind of jazz greats that, you know, have come up here.

So it's been a part of my life forever.
