Mohamed Al Ubaidli is the founder and CEO of Patients Know Best, the personal health record platform that has crossed 6 million registered users in the UK and was the first personal health record to integrate with the NHS app.

He trained as a physician in Cambridge, worked as a staff scientist at the US National Institute of Health before founding Patient Knows Best in 2008.

He has written eight books on healthcare technology and in 2012 was elected an Ashoka Fellow as a social entrepreneur.

It is different.

It is different, right? It is different to do consumer, PHR, consumer health, virtual care, do some of the alphabet companies or, but vertical system of record is a very different business than most of big tech has ever tried.

Apple doesn't have systems of record or vertical systems of record.

Google does not really, outside of maybe Google Suite, Google Docs and such, you could say kind of is an organizational system of record, weak, not definitely not verticalized.
