Persimmon pudding

This recipe is kind of a staple in our house this time of year, well up to New Year's Eve.

So In my family, my grandma always made the very best persimmon pudding.

Now, this recipe is not her persimmon pudding, but it's the one I've been using of late because no matter what you do when you are making a family member's Recipe it never tastes like it does when they made it and I'm sure that has something to do with the nostalgia of it This is a recipe that I got from my aunt though and it's her daughter's Aunt-in-law's recipe and it's for persimmon pudding and persimmons are a tree That I assume that they're all over the United States and They come on in the fall and when it frosts or starts to get cooler, they ripen and fall off the tree.

They are a very stringent fruit when they first fall.

um they dry your mouth out if you don't cook them or make put them in something um persimmon pudding is our favorite though this is a recipe that you're going to bake at 325 for an hour and a half and it's very important that hour and a half is absolutely necessary Also, this is a full sugar recipe.

I do not have one that is diabetic friendly.

So just bear all of that in mind.
