Blair PachecoHOST
Okay
JRHOST
... with Persephone.
JRHOST
Yeah.
Blair PachecoHOST
Just, just making sure, 'cause I s- I'm still not sold on it.
14 MINS LATER
Blair PachecoHOST
Even, like, right now, like, repeating it, like, it's, it still hits.
Blair PachecoHOST
So, like, yeah, that, like, the... 'Cause I know there was a tag match, uh, a women's tag that was supposed to happen.
Blair PachecoHOST
It was supposed to be, like, Hyon and Thunder Rosa against DMD and Persephone.
JRHOST
Mm-hmm.
Chris PetersenHOST
September.
Chris PetersenHOST
Persephone.
Johnny NarrowHOST
I'm going to go with Chelsea Green.
Johnny NarrowHOST
She did have a solid title offense on 9-11.
Johnny NarrowHOST
Yeah.
Johnny NarrowHOST
So, she's got my vote.
Chris PetersenHOST
Yeah, Persephone's been a TBS champion, so that was my reasoning.
Johnny NarrowHOST
And Chelsea, start, get garbage bags for Chelsea and just start throwing those fucking toys out, one by one.
Adam SilversteinHOST
Hopefully, she continues to get booked, and maybe goes after and wins the TBS title.
Adam SilversteinHOST
If I asked you right now, who is the TBS champion, do you know the answer to that? The answer is Persephone, and it happened in clear view of all of us, but I bet you forgot.
Adam SilversteinHOST
That's why I wanted to pose the question.
Adam SilversteinHOST
Tekla attacked after the bell with a spear, but Mercedes avoided the stomp.
Chris McCarthyHOST
It's been going five years, whatever.
Chris McCarthyHOST
Um, that's Alex Winz's first ever one, wasn't it? And then the last base was Persephone featuring Britt Baker's butt.
Chris McCarthyHOST
Um, crazy choice [laughs] for a card, by the way.
David LloydHOST
Yeah.
Chris McCarthyHOST
Fucking crazy choice.
Chris McCarthyHOST
Um, and then the blue is Willow Spray, and the gold is the Golden Bitch, Okada himself.
Chris McCarthyHOST
Um, auto chance is Persephone, um, Britt Baker.
Chris McCarthyHOST
Well, not really Britt Baker.
JJHOST
We could use it.
Austin ReddickCORRESPONDENT
Oh, it's Persephone.
Austin ReddickCORRESPONDENT
I had to think for a second.
Austin ReddickCORRESPONDENT
I was like, wait, who's the TBS champion right now?
6 MINS LATER
JJHOST
Get rid of that
JamieHOST
...
JamieHOST
I'm totally fine if you got rid of that and gave me something with Persephone and Thunder Rosa progressing their storyline for CMLL and for here, you know? Like, give me something of that.
JamieHOST
Or, I don't know, have Thekla leave the, the Sisters of Sin and start a storyline where she's having to fight with them and get her in a program against them.
DerekHOST
I think she had enough to, to, I think she's done enough over the time that she's been on the main roster to have that shot.
DerrickHOST
I think the issue is her and Persephone both deserved it.
DerrickHOST
And it was kind of like, well, who do you want to give it to first? True.
DerrickHOST
Yeah.
DerrickHOST
So maybe I'm an, I was the one to take it from Persephone in the future though.
DerekHOST
Maybe.
DerekHOST
And then I think that that's where you elevate Persephone.
DerekHOST
Yeah,
Chris RuckerHOST
Yeah, yeah
EJ ReidHOST
... maybe, uh, her and Persephone will win the tag team belts.
EJ ReidHOST
Like I said, they still need bodies, but other, all around, like I said, good tribute show.
EJ ReidHOST
So rest in peace to Pac again.
Gerald WW LynnHOST
And first runner up
DFVHOST
upAll Out 2026 ATBS Championship match, Persephone beat Dani Luna in a bout with a 6.36 cage match rating and a 8.0 rating from UWWLAN.
Gerald WW LynnHOST
All right.
Gerald WW LynnHOST
Now that we covered the matches that weren't, let's talk about the AEW Women's Singles Match of the Month.
Matt MaherHOST
You, you've successfully paid tribute to him in the best way you could.
Matt MaherHOST
Before the main event, we got the six woman tag, Persephone, Britt Baker, and Mercedes versus Thunder Rosa, Hyan, and Mina Shafir.
Matt MaherHOST
Shafir in a Newcastle shirt that Ben had gifted her with her son's name on it.
Matt MaherHOST
Excalibur made sure to note that Mercedes' addition was because of her and Ben's time together in WWE.
Matt MaherHOST
Like, none of that shit mattered today.
Matt MaherHOST
And, yeah, unsurprisingly, Shafir with the crowd fully behind her, with her shouting in Pac's honor.
Matt MaherHOST
Just a quick note to say that Persephone looked flipping great.
Matt MaherHOST
Like, bigger things on this show, but I just want to note, like, how great she's been becoming since becoming TBS champion.
