Perminder Sachdev

Controversial.

If, um, work done by Parminder Sachdev, who co-runs the, uh, Healthy Brain, uh, I forgot exactly the name of it, at University of New South Wales, has looked at this, and he disagrees that women are more prone to dementia than men.

He thinks probably the gender split is equal.

It may, it may change according to age, but if you look at women and men over 80, it may not actually be a higher risk.
