She is insatiably curious and asks the best questions, and I think all of that spirit comes together in a way that shapes both her work and her advocacy so beautifully.

We first met when we co-hosted a screening of an Oscar-winning documentary called Period End of Sentence.

And I remember sitting in the theater that night just being so amazed by her energy and her thoughtfulness.

It's so neat actually to, to know that that was the first moment because we met co-hosting the Period.

End of Sentence., the documentary about breaking the stigma around menstruation and access for girls around the world.

And so it, it's like so, it's so cool to hear where it started for you because where my connection-

It really makes sense.

I remember maybe five, six years ago, there was that Oscar winning short documentary, I think it's called Period, End of Sentence, about menstrual products in India, right? And as far as just the mechanics of getting products that make the women there feel comfortable to swim, like, is that a challenge to get the actual physical products? Or is it more access monetarily? Or how's that work?

All of the above.

So we ask any girls that have been with us on site to leave behind anything they might have.
