Today we're diving into a fascinating episode where Brian Keating sits down with Adam Frank from the University of Rochester and Nayesh Afshordi from the Perimeter Institute.

They tackle some big questions.

What does it mean for scientists to serve the public? Where does belief end and evidence begin? These are crucial questions right now.

When we visited, it was maybe 10, probably 12, 13 years ago.

That was the last time he visited Parameter.

Unfortunately, he passed away maybe two or three years afterwards, if I remember

correctly.

We're here at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario, and it's unbelievable, but it's been five decades and roughly 2,000 programs, so we're celebrating.

And we're celebrating here at the Perimeter Institute, where they are marking their own 25th anniversary.

Now, we're gonna talk about the last 50 years of science that we've covered on the show, but we're also going to rocket into the future and talk about a group of Canadian s- researchers from a wide range of disciplines about what the next 50 years might hold.
