Perfusion CT

Okay, so during my last year of residency, I knew I wanted to specialize in stroke, and I was looking for an opportunity to train abroad.

I was choosing in that moment between Calgary, Canada, where they were conducting the SCAT trial, or Newcastle, Australia, where I was particularly interested in, in learning CT perfusion.

And both for me were excellent academic opportunities, but there was one important difference.

I just had the permission to spend six months abroad from September to February.
