Pep Talk

I love a narrator shift for a lot of reasons.

Now, a song that does feel like it is completely in the moment is Pep Talk.

And this is where I started to realize that this is how special this album is going to be to me.

Because for one, they just feel right in the pocket on this.

And this is where I was just like, man, I've lived this.

I lived this so much.

And I, that, that, sort of this song kind of has two choruses in this first one the i find him waking up at sunrise just lying in bed giving myself a pep talk to survive the day lying ahead just so matter of fact but such a good lyric

it really is um like from the get-go the first line of the song i'll love an incurable mess because i like to tidy up like yeah that is a mood-setting line if i've ever heard one
