And it was the film and, and you'd go in the dark room and develop the film and print the pictures and all that kind of stuff.

Then I kinda got away from it for a long, long time, and it wasn't till we, you know, got the digital camera for Megan's, doing Megan's senior pictures that it sort of was like, "Oh yeah, I remember really enjoying this." And we would do that, you know, with the family and, and whatnot, but it was, to be honest, I think it was Anderson East at a bar called Poor Brothers in Peoria Heights.

There's a big courtyard in front of this, um, place, and there's multiple restaurants and businesses there.

And they would do, uh, they have been doing, um, weekly or some bigger ones through the summer.

And she's here with Matt Wiginton, mayor of Peoria Heights, because they've been a host of some events.

And I guess a lot of folks there, a lot of business owners, are tied in to Girls' Day and what they do.

Is that right, Mr. Mayor?

And then also to helping with self-advocacy, teaching individuals those skill to speak up, knowing what's right from wrong and knowing who to go to for that help.

So you mentioned this event that's coming up on October 10th, and it's in Peoria Heights for the second year.

And Mayor Wiginton, you were mentioning when we were chatting off air that there are a lot of businesses that are plugged in to what the center does, what Girls' Day does.
