You know? And I see a scenario, because in twenty fifteen, before the election, a lot of people were coming from different states of the north to go and meet Jonathan, that they were going to deliver their states, you know, to Jonathan.

When they get close to Abuja, they put on PDP clothes.

You know, when they get to Aso Rock and collect what they want to collect and leave Abuja, the making they leave Abuja, they put on their Babarenga, throwing the PDP clothes, you know, away.

I think that scenario, you know, might happen to the APC and, uh, be- because the, only a few support the, the south.

We would, I mean, most like-

You see, one of the problems we have is not calling people to order.

Let me take one example.

Um, um, Minister Wike, he has said it here, said it openly, that he is a PDP and he's going to deliver, one single man, that he's going to deliver, um, capital, federal capital to Tinubu, to APC, and Rivers to APC.

You know? And Azuka Onwuka says the comment was not made during the interview with Olayinka.

It had been made a day earlier when Osoeni was discussing Wiki's decision to support Sinopu in the 2027 presidential election rather than the PDB candidates.

So he used that word.

And that was the word that Lele...

On one side is Chris Oba.

He is a PDB chieftain and member of the party's board of trustees.

His brother Andy is special advisor on domestic affairs to President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Nigerians nicknames the arrangement Obasanjo.

It is registered in 2002.

Ojukwu runs as its presidential candidate.

The party is built as the Southeast answer to the PDP, a vehicle of hope for a region that feels shut out of federal power.

Ojuku hands Peter Obi the governorship ticket.

This is a government that has, um, APC from 2015 promised to provide security and stop stealing and fix our economy.

The first thing they did was even before they got sworn in, they were collecting tens of millions of dollars from the outgoing military and PDP government.

There has never been a corrupt government like APC right from under Buhari.

I haven't seen much of Tinubu, so I can't say it now.

You know, FCT minister.

But he went to Bauchi, got PDP ticket, and won the election.

And for eight years now, despite the fact that he has a case with the FCC, he cannot be tried.

Our lawmakers should look into that area.

But I think the person that had energized them is the president.

You know, he met with them, 31 of them, and said, the way things are going.

Then they have PDP to thank.

They have Atiku to thank.

You know, what transpired.

Well, that suit basically... was instituted by some members of the Board of Trustees of, you know, the PDP.

I'm saying that with some tinge of caution, and I'll tell you why.

And those who instituted that suit are You know, the BOT chairman, Adolf Oswabara, that is the BOT that is somehow sympathetic to, you know, the Turaki, you know, let come.

Governor Ali Mwazu, the former governor of Niger, who is now the secretary of, you know, the BOT.

I think Professor Jerry Garner or Labode George, elder statesman, some two former women, the first ministers and, you know, the PDP is as well joined as a party, you know, in that suit.

And they initially instituted that suit against the Independent National Electoral Commission.

And what are they seeking for before the court? You know, their prayer in the men is that let inek recognize you know the interim national working committee of the party that is led by you know turaki as the authentic leadership of the party why i'm saying that is because they had earlier written a letter you know to inek saying they had constituted this i and the wc interim national working committee for the party so that it is that working committee that is supposed to you know, organize primary elections for the PDP and field candidates and the INEC ought to, you know, cut them, is it the access code, in order for them to upload their candidates on, you know, its portal.

Right.

It's not this kind of big, broad sweeping thing, but it's, hey, we're going to do this bargaining about politics before elections around multi-party, multi-ethnic coalition parties.

But we don't want people to feel like they're not represented.

So we want to make sure that there are cabinet ministers from all the states, that there are ambassadors and jungles from all of the states.

The number one era is the pre-Civil War era, where federal character didn't exist.

So to get ethnic diversity in the government, the way the system was set up is that you really needed a coalition government.

So you'd have, for example, a Southern party ally with a Northern party, two different parties will come together and jointly govern.

Post-Civil War Nigeria doesn't want to do that.
