To put some context to it, the, the Financial Crime Enforcement Network of the Treasury, FinCEN, in August of this year released a report that between 2023 and 2025, they flagged $5 billion that was suspected of, uh, being involved with just human smuggling, that these cartels have, have, um, diversified into.

So they control a lot of the human smuggling that's going on.

So when you look at $5 billion over three years, if, if my public school math holds, that's around $180,000 every hour of every day for three years that these organizations, uh, made just in human smuggling.

So when you talk about the corruption-

There's a saying, like, uh, "Live a year as a king than, you know, 10 as a, as a peasant." So they would rather die in a, in a hail of gunfire than be subjected to 23 hours a day in a, you know, six-by-10 cell.
