Pennies from Heaven

I do hope you're enjoying the show.

I'm your host, Joe Perillo, and I'm starting off this next set with the tune Pennies from Heaven.

Every time it rains, it rains pennies from heaven Don't you know each cloud contains pennies from heaven you'll find your fortune falling all over town be sure that your umbrella is upside down trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers if you want the things you love you must have showers so when you hear a retreat there'll be pennies from heaven for you and me Just trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers.

If you want the things you love, you must have showers.

So when you hear it thunder, don't run under a tree.

There'll be pennies from heaven.

I've got a dentist who's over seven feet tall.

Yes, I've got a dentist who's over seven feet tall.

As you know, we tend to look at an episode of Goodnight Sweetheart in each episode of this podcast.

And today we have reached series five, episode five, which is called Pennies from Heaven.

We will also have the little bits of trivia that go along with that episode.

We are going to also today be putting in the second part of the episode.

We're going to see what horse racing was like during World War II.

Bit of a random one, I know, but that will become more clearer as today's episode of Goodnight Sweetheart is played out.

We've got a bit of gambling going on in today's episode of Goodnight Sweetheart, so that's why I thought we'd go back to world war ii and see what horse racing was like during those days so we've got absolutely loads to get through today so let's start our podcast today with a recap of where we are in good night sweetheart series 5 and what we can expect from today's episode which is pennies from heaven good night sweetheart series 5 episode 5 so So regular listeners to the podcast will know that the last few episodes of Goodnight Sweetheart have been rather hectic but in a good way I would say especially after you think about how we started series five I was very critical about the start of series five it was not the best let's put it that way it certainly upped its game in the last few episodes so what I'm going to do in this little recap is just kind of pick out the main points of what we've seen recently and So in the last couple of episodes, we've had Phoebe make her way to the 1990s.

And not only that, she's come face to face with Yvonne as well.

... clopping along.
