Penn State Berks

I'm a retired educator and coach and, uh, and I was a basketball coach.

I played basketball at Penn State Berks campus in Pennsylvania, uh, in college.

Played high school basketball and then, uh, spent a lot of time, uh, as a, a head varsity basketball coach.

Now, you might say, "What does that have to do with hockey?" Hockey, I always loved.

So trying to figure out what that next path was and how I was going to be able to help leave an impact on student athletes lives and have an impact on the institutions that I was a part of.

So when I left coaching, I found a position at Penn State Berks, which is also now a Division III institution.

But when I went there, it was moving through the provisional process to become full NCAA members.

So I was able to take on a sports information director role, which I am glad it happened before social media kind of hit the fold.
