Peninsula

Uh, but he does a lot of zombie movies.

Uh, he also did another zombie movie called Peninsula in 2020, and Seoul Station in 2016, uh, and a TV show in 2024 called Parasyte: The Grey.

So all kind of at least zombie or zombie adjacent.

Some of them are like, like this one where it's a hive mind, like how much they're actual traditional zombies you can argue I guess, but-

Uh, so we have also, uh, Koo Kyo-hwan as Seo Hong-cheol, who's kind of the evil scientist character in this movie.

He was in Parasyte: The Grey, so that's how he kinda knows the director-writer.

And he was also in Peninsula, which is the 2020 zombie movie.

So they have kind of a working long-term relationship.

And I believe that...

Oh, it's Peninsula, and it was released in 2020.

Oh.

And it has a lot of the same charac- or the same actors back into it.

Ku Kyo Hwan, I'm trying to see what else he was in that I might have seen.

He was in a Netflix show called DP and he was also in Peninsula, which is the sequel to Train to Busan.

I didn't know it had a

prequel.

So we don't have to worry about that.

Train to Busan presents Peninsula.

It may be a completely different thing.

Train to Busan, give or take, it costs, and I'm not kidding, 10 billion of whatever the Korean currency is.

[laughs]

... which is hella modest for a movie like this.

And from what I understand, Peninsula doubled that budget.

So we'll see if the production value makes itself known.

Which is different.

Then Peninsula is like from the same world.

And it's like the sequel to Train to Busan.

Peninsula, like Train to Busan is a 10.

Peninsula is like a 9.

If you like zombie movies, you have to see that.

But this is the thing.
