And then when selecting the team up with Penny Parker, they reduced the Parker power cooldown from 15 seconds to 10 seconds.

So more bomb webs.

Spider-Ham got 18%.

The Penny Parker, they fixed the issue where Penny's cyber web snare would unexpectedly enter cooldown immediately upon casting.

when I was playing with Brian, was the importance of knowing which button you're pressing when you're doing specials, because move properties will vary wildly, and things you think should work won't work if you press the wrong button.

So I got a little more used to that and I was having fun with Penny Parker specifically because surprise, surprise.

She has a similar gameplay philosophy of the character I play in Guilty Gear, which is small, small lady swing, large object with big normals.

yeah I think I'm maybe the one who brought up the idea of doing something that's a spin-off of this, but how cool would it be if they did a Spider-Ham Looney Tunes-style series, and then they did an anime with that...

And then they did like sort of a, a more, uh, I don't know, like almost like a spinoff of the spider verse.

so i'm i'm gonna just start with the beginning itself the the death of his version of peter and just how it affected the entire city affected miles um because he he was there he witnesses just like in the comic books only it's a little bit different where we're setting up kingpin as the big bad and I think that the way that they did every character introduction in this with kind of the comic book style of, let's take it back to the beginning, and you get the comic book panels and the introduction of each characters.

And so that starts with Peter Parker, that continues with Miles, Peter B. Parker, Penny Parker, Spider-Ham, everyone as they're introduced.

And I think that that was just a great way to... um wrap everything up so that you don't have the long drawn out movie style exposition of all right well we have to go through the uncle ben thing we have to go through this we have to have these long drop nope quick a couple of comic book panels drop pages and all right we're back into this story

and they don't shy away from the comic books itself of the origins of these characters either every one of them are very much comic book accurate and i love that they lean hard like you want to get spider-man noir the black and white the the kind of cadence that they lean into nick cage being nick cage but like the 19 1920s 1930s um kind of gangster era at that point keeping up in the black and white yeah but then you get like peter b parker and spider-man i mean we've heard this the parker luck and everything like that well this is the one that the parker like hits hard like he you know rises high and then hits it hard and and says that he's also him and mary jane broke up you know because he was he was not the best person um and like you say i got gained a lot of weight and he's not just most most fit spider-man either um And that was a very interesting kind of like, okay, the good Spider-Man passed away, you know, in Miles' universe.
