I was a little bit surprised.

Because Penelope Douglas, maybe they just assume, like, it just, like, flies off the shelf on her own.

However, when I read the description, I was like, it's two rivals from opposing families fight their forbidden attraction to each other in this brand new romance from New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas.

because it is a properly filthy romanticie.

So if you want to do a romanticie, but normally you're deep in the kind of Penelope Douglas, kind of Sarah Kate world, this is where you go.

If you want all the filth in the world, but you don't care that it's not human,

Yeah.

Um,

but it's something I have to introduce people to.

And what I tend to do is, it's like for me, it's a cross between, if you are a Crescent City girlie, and you are also a corrupt series by Penelope Douglas person.

Crossover.

So just know if you're in that space, I'm right there with you and you're not alone.

I think I have to say one dark romance series with the amount of dark romance that I read.

And I have to say it's the Devil's Night series by Penelope Douglas.

That basically changed my life.

So I can totally recommend that.
