Pedro Favarón

And then within that kind of that, um, How can I say this? The kind of, I guess, a kind of an orientation of reciprocity and abundance.

And more recently, the work that I'm doing is with my colleague, Andrienne Bedard, the clinical herbalist, and also a dear friend in Peru, Pedro Favaron, who's a member of the Shipibo community and He's on leave from his position as a professor at La Catolica, one of the main universities in Lima, and he's now working for the government, focusing on indigenous and Afro-Peruvian issues.

Anyhow, the work with Pedro and Andrean is looking at... at ayahuasca, and in particular ways in which the practice of ayahuasca use and conceptions of ayahuasca are being distorted, essentially, by spiritual tourism.

So that's another big research project that we're working on.
