If you're gonna take earlier than 90 days, you'll then be able to go into ASWB Central, open your exam registration, complete that registration, pay the fee again, and then just like you did the first time you took the exam or the last time you took the exam, you'll get that authorization to test email.

Once you get that, then you can actually go to Pearson VUE, the testing center, and schedule your exam.

So we can see, you know, here are the fees between $230 and $260 for the exam, depending on the exam version you are taking.

Step six here, more time isn't always the fix.

It's all they do, basically.

Now, these testing centers, they're Pearson VUE testing centers.

They administer all kinds of exams for all kinds of organizations.

So this means that you may be in a room that not everybody's going to be taking the FE exam.

They're taking all kinds of exams, so just kind of be prepared for that.

Now for the civil FE exam, you're going to take this in one of the many Pearson VUE testing centers.

They are spread across the country, and this is actually a huge benefit.

Having a lot of testing centers around the country making that available for you makes it more convenient for you.

However, if your accommodations are approved, you actually don't book using the regular method that we were talking about before.

You actually contact Pearson directly the Pearson VUE to schedule an exam using accommodations.

So you don't go using the portal.

You contact them and the scheduling request must be submitted at least 15 days before your desired exam date.

Cisco does not administer the exam.

VUE does.

And Pearson VUE does the exam for just about every major industry in the world.

If you take a look, these are all tests that you can take through Pearson VUE.

The next step would be for those documents and that application to be reviewed by the ABOS Credentials Committee, and those individuals would be notified by April 23rd, 2027 that they've been approved to sit for the examination.

At that time, they could start and pay the examination fee and then schedule the examination at a Pearson VUE center.

That would start April 28th, 2027.

They would take the examination, which will be given on August 5th, 2027.

This is the blindness-specific AI company behind the Envision app, Envision Glasses, and more recently, Ally.

We've had expressions of concern about slower updates, quieter communication, and a general sense that something wasn't right.

You don't e- you don't, you may not even know where to go take that exam.

So for most exams you have to go to a Pearson VUE center.

You know, usually your local community college may be one, or they may have a facility depending on where you at.

But basically you have to schedule, and during your scheduling process it ta- you have a location to pick.

I mean, it, the regular nerves of knowing that it's important and that, you know, there's expectations and since my company is paying for my experience, you know, there is a, a sense of obligation to, to do well.

But, uh, once, once you get through the process, I went to one of the Pearson VUE-

... test centers.

They really tried, but they failed.

And in the case of the Pearson VUE organization, here is another well-known international organization slash agency slash whatever you want to call them, did not make the online exams or online certification exam that I took.

accessible in any way and did not seem interesting in wanting to do it in any way.
