What's happening over there at the news desk?

An investigator found irregularities in the 63-year-old's story leading to his arrest for dealing in stolen property and false verification of ownership to a pawnbroker.

You know what? I believe this guy.

Because as soon as your friend passes away, after they give you something very special, what do you do? You take it to the pawn shop and honor your friend.

I mean, there's not even a hole in this guy's plot.

It's absolutely telling that the two busiest days for the pawnbroker were Saturday and Monday.

You get your wages, you go, you redeem your Sunday best, you wear it out for whatever purpose, and then come Monday, you brush it down, make it look as respectable as you possibly can, and you return it to pawns.

Lefroy was a regular customer at the Pawnbroker's.

He pledged an overcoat there for 10 shillings.

He got more than a pound for his dress suit and he'd received another five shillings for a six chambered revolver.

But the gang soon struck again, this time at Pawnbrokers on Stapleton Road in Bristol.

Two staff members arrived at the store ready to open for the 9am opening, but as soon as they stepped inside, they were confronted by two hooded men.
