So, so far we've had Whistler by Ann Patchett, and Colson Whitehead's latest installment of the Harlem Shuffle series, and Etna by Paul Yoon.

And they've all just been amazing books.

So it's just been a terrific gift and a personal one when you have that insight from Lauren Groff and the interviews with the authors as well.

Next month in September, the Book Review Book Club will be reading and discussing Etna by Paul Yoon.

It's a war story, or rather a post-war story, told from the perspective of a dog who just wants to get home.
