Paul Wheelock

Hello and welcome to the latest Royal Blue podcast.

I'm your standing host, Paul Wheelock, and I'm delighted to be joined by the Liverpool Echo's Everton FC reporter, Chris Beesley, and fellow long-suffering Evertonian, Tony Scott.

Yeah, we'd like to be bringing you in maybe a bit more of an upbeat podcast, but Everton once again went down to defeat at the home of Arsenal.

Unfortunately, we're well used to that now, aren't we? whether it's the Emirates or when it was Highbury before that.

I'm more disappointed in the fact that I'm writing an on-the-whistle piece about Barcola.

And I said to Paul Wheelock, our editor at half-time, if nothing else happens, I'll focus on Barcola for the on-the-whistle piece.

And I'm going to get his hat to him.

I'm going to do a few hundred words into that.
