Mm-hmm.
120:09
Tickets are available through the Arts and Culture Centre box office.
120:12
There's still some good tickets remaining.
120:15
We'd like to have a sellout like we did last year, so if, uh, people are interested in hearing, uh, two great groups-
120:23
Yes
120:23
... and some great music, uh, go online to Arts and Culture Centre and get your tickets.
120:28
Uh, that's the biggest thing I wanted to mention, Brian, today.
120:31
The other thing is, coincident with that, that's the night that we're drawing for our WestJet, uh, 20th anniversary fly away tickets, so there's still a week and a half to get those tickets.
122:46
Woo-hoo!
122:48
Yeah, absolutely, yeah.
122:50
And great support, too, from our friends at NAIP, who came on board as sponsors as well a couple of years ago and continue to support us.
122:59
But our year is not over yet, Brian.
123:02
We do have another bingo, albeit it's here in St. John's.
123:06
But next Sunday afternoon, first time we've ever done it, we're going to do a Sunday afternoon bingo at Jack Byrne Arena.
123:14
Gates will open at 1 o'clock.
124:13
I mean, look, 400-odd tickets, that's pretty good odds.
6:12
Yeah,
6:13
I think that what's important about that initiative is it kind of changes the traditional way that workforce is looked at helping people that have been recently released.
6:27
Traditionally, it's been, well, we'll work with these folks once they get released.
6:32
Well, the problem with that is the clock is ticking.
6:37
If somebody doesn't get a job, there is a good chance that they will end up back within a correctional facility.
6:45
So the idea that whilst they're incarcerated and they have all this time on their hands, that's the great opportunity to make sure that they're up to, you know, that they look at career opportunities, they look at how they can apply the skills maybe that they've learned within the prison, and then have that ready to go as soon as they're released.
7:08
The other great thing is, though, like you talked about the states, California is another one, you know, as soon as they're released, they actually, a switch is flipped, on the system and they have an account on the state system such as CalJobs in California and they know how to use it because it's the same interface and they've used it within the correctional facility.
9:47
Looking to three, five years down the road, a few trends that you're seeing that are maybe outside of AI, but that are still slated to impact workforce development.
37:50
So how was Corner Brook? How was the Best Coast?
37:53
Corner Brook, the Best Coast was absolutely the best.
37:58
We had a fabulous night with bingo.
38:02
Over 300 people showed up to play.
38:06
And we were just over the moon.
38:09
I got to say, we were really excited about it.
38:12
It was a great evening.

5 MINS LATER

43:42
yeah there you go nice target um i hope you do there's lots of room in that lot for it
88:59
Do you have two dates in July?
89:02
Yeah, well, as it turns, yes, we will be the 29th, and we may add a third date.
89:08
Our license allows us to do seven bingos this year, so at some point in time between now and Labor Day weekend, we will pick up the date that we're missing tonight, so that's good.
89:20
I'm keeping to the bingo front for just a little while.
89:24
I want to talk to our good friends out on the West Coast particularly anywhere within the radius of Cornerbrook who might like bingo.
89:32
We actually, this summer, thanks to the federal government and the provincial government, have a full-time staff person on the West Coast in the Cornerbrook area.
89:42
Is that new? So, yep, it's been great.
91:49
Great news that there's expansion, like room to expand.
