So The Last of Us has had a strange journey, Paul Tassi said, since it was first released on HBO in 2023.

It was a big hit and mostly liked by fans.

However, things changed in season two, and now it seems like they may change significantly in season three.

But okay, we were talking a little bit about the state of play.

I don't want to go too past some of the stuff, but we might as well talk about that and the We Want Destiny 3 and the Paul Tassi thing because that was really funny.

So there was a state of play today, and we'll talk about the games in a minute.

But the biggest news was no disc, no buy, and We Want Destiny 3.

With that said, um i'm not entirely sure what any of this means anyway uh but you we talked to it last week about the whole content creators being fishy uh and then paul tassi said uh said after he did his smoke thing uh he said when they announced this week they announced the state of play he said no temper your expectations uh or whatever it was something like that um And then after the state of play today, somebody called him out and was like, why were you saying shit? And he's like, I told you guys to not, I told you to not say anything.

And then he said something along this line is, I forget what it was, but it was like, there's still something.

If you have it for me to get to at the end of the news segment, that'd be fun as well.

Um, Paul Tassi at Forbes also had an interesting note, though.

There is a game that's tied with Zero Company with the 86 Metacritic score.

And that made the future of like Destiny 2 and possibly Destiny 3 very, very bleak.

And the reports back in May were that Destiny 3 wasn't greenlit or even in production because And this was kind of corroborated through various sources of people working at Bungie, people that had worked with Bungie and, you know, insiders like Jason Schreier and Paul Tassi.

You know, there's no Destiny 3 kind of there at all.

that was the kind of plan Sony were all in on marathon and not much on destiny that kind of, it kind of been shelved.

So, yeah, I mean, I don't know what he's kind of hinting at.

I mean, Matix was another popular Destiny 2 creator that has added speculation with a post containing only the Latin phrase Nulla tenacea inna via est via, which translates to, for the tenacious, no road is impassable.

And apparently this has gained more weight when Forbes contributor Paul Tassi then joined in with the conversation and hints on X yesterday, writing, as for the creator's wink-winks I keep getting asked about, where's the smoke? But don't let your imagination go too wild.

So I honestly don't know what's kind of... going down.
