Paul Mullie

A- and what's fascinating about this property is how it bridges our earlier discussion about the back pour pitch with the modern TV landscape.

The showrunners, Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, originally developed the concept for television, but instead of just pitching the pilot script into the void, they specifically chose to establish the intellectual property through Dark Horse first.

They published a four issue graphic novel in 2012.

They built the world, established the visual tone, and proved the viability of the serialized mystery before ever rolling a camera.
