How does technology affect our ability to be happy? How does social media impact us?

Okay, well, and it is interesting, isn't it? If you literally go back, what, 14 years ago, and you're in a cafe on June the 28th, And you go into this cafe and there's certain things you would notice.

First of all, when you want to order a coffee, there's possibly two choices, black and white, right? And there's one milk option and that's dairy.

And you're looking around the cafe and you're seeing people, maybe some of them are on their own, but they're reading a book or they're reading a newspaper.

You'll see people actually talking to each other.

And there might be someone who's actually got a phone in their hand, but they're not looking at it and scrolling through it.

They're actually holding it to their ear and they're talking to somebody.

How do we know where people are at, whether it's ourselves or whether it's other people? And I guess equally importantly, how do we ensure that someone who's unhappy doesn't, that the issue doesn't get worse and tip over into mental health issues?

This event is the biggest major emergency management event on the western coast of Ireland.

There'll be an influx of over 70,000 spectators for the weekend.

We're planning for this from two weeks after last year's event and our meetings with the principal response agencies and the Donegal Motor Club commenced in February.

Our policing operation this weekend centres around road safety, high visibility policing and 24-7 traffic and public order management.

And look, there's a lot of resources being thrown at this to make sure that that's the case.

brilliant uh paul finally uh to you uh the bottom line is is this is a fantastic event it's been designed for people to enjoy but keep the race in its place wouldn't it be fantastic and fingers crossed and hopefully it's the case that we could reconvene on monday and we've had a wonderful successful event you know public order at a minimum road traffic at a minimum and look at there's a lot of resources being thrown at this to make sure that that's the case
