Paul Keels

My son with the homecoming, I had to take him down to get pictures.

I turned on the radio in the car right after it happened, and Paul Keels told me about it, but I didn't see that one.

I saw the one that worked, and to your point, it was late in the game.

The game was over.

He showed the Illini some hip wiggle.

That's Learfield and the legendary Paul Keels, voice of the Buckeyes, right there as Ohio State comes up with a big win, 42-19 over Illinois.

And Jeremiah Smith, 12 catches, 217 yards, four touchdowns.

Believe me, he's going to be high on everyone's Heisman list as well this week.

And the story of this game, not surprisingly, Jeremiah Smith.

Here is the dulcet-toned Paul Keels on WBNS.

And out of the pistol set back to throw from his 18-yard line.

He slipped that one deep down to right side.

Here's the thing.

I've also heard Paul Keels on those dumb games.

And Paul at least gives a little bit more.

Yeah, yes.

And then first game comes.

And I, I remember driving down to the radio station to do post game and Paul Keels was on the radio and he's just like, oh, and Luke Fahey's in a quarterback.

Like, didn't even make a big deal about it.

I'm just like, what? Like, Luke was the first one to go in because I thought Tabian would at least be the first just because he was older and been here longer.

And I would have happily clipped it.

Paul Keels, the dulcet tones of his voice were going to talk about how much Ohio State was obliterating Texas.

And it would have been the nice picks of the week bumper.

And it would have removed one of my wrong predictions for another.

Coming up next is the Buckeye Radio Network pregame show, then the game called.

Paul Keels, Tyler Danberg, Jim Lachey.

One last final time.

Make it a big one.
