What are the ingredients for that happy ending in the short term, you know, 27th of October and everything else? What's the best case scenario, do you think?
33:47
Well, the best case scenario and the ingredients are slightly different.
33:49
I think there's one necessary ingredient that has been absent, and it's the most important of all, and that's leadership.
33:58
And there has been no leadership in Israel in the past decade or more.
34:05
You know, from this government, or to be fair, the previous government was more like an interlude, a shortcoming between Netanyahu's reign on the wider Palestinian issue.
34:16
So I think Eisenhower will be given a chance.
34:19
I think there's an appetite for many Israelis who are exhausted, like exhausted by three years of war.

11 MINS LATER

45:09
And there's a better ending to that movie, Paul.
10:37
And how do you ensure that your messaging resonates with individuals from diverse backgrounds, considering the complexities of identity?
10:47
Yeah, well, I think one of the most important things that we do is we listen.
10:51
You know, identity is complex.
10:54
And people experience the world through different lenses, whether that be cultural, religious lenses, racial or social lenses.
11:02
So rather than approaching anti-racism from a one-size-fits-all perspective, we look to engage with communities, educators and young people directly to understand their experiences and concerns.
11:16
So our message and focus is on shared values such as fairness, respect, dignity and inclusion.
11:23
and they're principles that we believe people from all backgrounds will connect with.
13:31
Now, looking ahead, what do you see as the biggest opportunities and challenges for anti-racism organisations in addressing identity politics?
4:02
We're going to talk a minute about AI, but tell us about the strategic priorities of the Office of the CFO and the evolving role of accounts payable in
4:11
this using world.
4:13
Yeah.
4:14
yeah well i think if you if you think about a cfo within an organization now very much i think probably in my experience it's been very much about a control function so managing the money coming in managing the money coming out and making sure that the organization was uh in good financial state in a lot of cases in my opinion very Backward looking, you know, even when we look at our own organization, sort of you're doing management accounts in arrears and you're looking at management accounts and seeing how the business is performing.
4:46
But very much that role has now changed into a forward looking and more strategic for an organization.
4:54
And I think technology probably has helped with that.
4:57
But I think.
8:26
Tell us, do you think AI will take finance jobs and redefine them?

43:00
yeah oh sorry I'm sorry that's me
43:06
okay the first column is the calendar year we're on a calendar year so that makes it a little easier And the second column is the tax that I put QRI there.
43:21
Sorry to confuse the issue, but it's QVC Group Inc. That's the amount they paid the IRS in this instance.
43:30
And the next column is the amount we paid them for the tax.
43:34
the tax liability for the year and the tax payments attributable to that year.
43:41
So both are, it's apples to apples comparison for the tax that was, you know, reflected on the tax return and the amount that we paid them in that year related to that specific tax return.
43:54
And then the states, similar in the column that says QRI state tax liability, That's the state tax liability that QRI paid in the FAR column is the amount that we paid QVC group to anchor TOPCO for the state income tax under the TSA.

What is your understanding of the origin of that deferred tax liability?
