Yeah, I mean, back to one of Michael's earlier questions about my experience in industry, informing my role as a regulator, what you might not know is that the drafters of the original Children's Online Safety Act were Paul Fletcher and Malcolm Turnbull, both of whom had worked in technology before and were lawyers.

And what they actually wrote into the legislation, they knew that regulation of the tech industry wouldn't be successful unless the person regulating came from the tech industry, understood what the drivers were, understood what the limitations were, understood what the lingua was and how things work.

And I think that has been absolutely vital.

They brought in the Online Safety Act.

Paul Fletcher was the Minister that drafted these rules when he legislated the Act in 2021.
