Peel Regional Police say they are rolling out an anti-human trafficking strategy.

Canadian country musician and anti-human trafficking advocate Paul Brandt joined Brampton mayor Patrick Brown and members of Peel Police for the announcement.

Police say their strategy, strategy, which includes a $150,000 investment, is focused on prevention, awareness, enforcement, and support for survivors.

The investigative and enforcement capacity will continue to increase here.

But for me, the hockey is the vehicle to deliver life lessons of leadership, of confidence, of building resiliency, all those things.

And so the off-ice sessions have, we've had Paul Brandt come and do a live concert.

We've had Brian Burke talk to parents about coaching.

mammograms for moms and mimosas, self-confidence education equipment, all sorts of stuff.

So there's a lot of artists that are like super famous to me, like Tim Hicks, you know, Stronger Beer.

Paul Brandt.

Paul Brandt.

Small towns and big dreams.

Come on.

Yep.

And they're doing a Canadian night where they're going to have like Gord Bamford, Paul Brandt, and Terry Clark perform.

And they had Jess Moskaluk, shout out Saskatchewan, explaining that that was going to be happening at the Grand Ole Opry to try and drive some people down to go watch.

And while she was explaining it, the other gal, who's a radio personality, was like, oh, by the way, I should tell you, you're going to be making your Grand Ole Opry debut that night.
