Guys, where should we begin? Well,
6:54
I started the hydrogen water industry 20 years ago.
6:59
So the reason I did is not to start a company or to make a product.
7:08
It was to heal the love of my life, my queen and my wife of now 32 years.
7:14
But at that time we were married 10 years.
7:19
And she was sick.
7:22
She had thyroid issues, gynecological issues, anemia, short-term memory issues, a number of things going on.

Now, my question for you, Paul, is specifically, and I've heard that hydrogen acts as a selective antioxidant, but what is it doing when I drink it? Just in layman's terms, what is this doing for me when I drink these 12 ounces and then make another batch?

7:53
And so I was looking for every possible way to help her.
7:57
What did end up helping her was the ORP in water.

7:02
I had no idea.
7:04
Yeah, so you know when you're out in the cold and, and you breathe and you see mist, it's 'cause there's water vapor, right? [laughs] So understand that we are constantly breathing out moisture because the contaminants in our lungs get into that water and are breathed out.
7:22
If we really wanna talk about asthma, it's dehydration.
7:30
Understand that if your kids, and I'm speaking to you amazing, beautiful moms out there, if your children are not drinking water and they're chronically dehydrated, they will have asthma.
7:42
And so we sometimes just drinking water...
7:47
And I sup- I used to say years ago, like, "I'm gonna prescribe that your child drinks water." And they're like, "What are you talking about?" I'm like, "Try it.
7:55
Trust me, your asthma may go away, and you won't be needing these inhalers and things." And, and that's not a guarantee for everyone, but the reality is dehydration, chronic dehydration can cause a lot of issues.

19:00
Wow.
7:33
What got you into it in the first place? It
7:34
was really my wife, my queen.
7:37
She was very sick the first 10 years of our marriage.
7:40
And in 2005, we went on a cruise.
7:43
And on that cruise, some friends of ours who had gifted us the cruise, because I had helped them out financially with their company years before.
7:50
And here we were on a cruise, November 2005, was just starting her menstrual cycle.
7:56
At that time, she would have seven days where she was almost bed bound and she would lose so much blood.

6 MINS LATER

14:15
What are the benefits of hydrogen water? You went through a list of it, but is there research behind it? What's the premise of it?
11:51
Is there anything that sticks out to people that they think this is something I need to do? Like what, what should people know about the benefits of red light therapy?
11:58
Well, the things that no one thinks about is sleeping without medication.
12:01
There are a lot of the, a lot of the people in the world can't sleep without medication, and if, if- You put that person in a bed that's an actual red light therapy bed that actually is providing a clinical level of red light, which we do in our Lumapod, you have that person sleeping without medication.
12:26
And, you know, we have 82-year-olds that are getting into our beds and not having to take medication to sleep at night.
12:33
This is tremendously valuable, right? For that human being, and it's- if it's your grandmother or it's your parent or whatever, that's very valuable.
12:42
The, the other thing I would tell you is hair growth, something as simple.
12:47
There are so many products being sold for hair growth, and most of them are complete nonsense.

9 MINS LATER

22:11
Electromagnetic frequencies, is this something we should be concerned about when it comes to these beds? Like is that something we should look out for if they're shielding against them? Like what are your thoughts on that?

and I was looking at what they do and I was like, holy cow, like I never had any idea that light could do all these things.
16:47
No wonder people are supposed to go outside in the sun every day.
16:50
But we mostly don't.
16:54
I mean, if you think about your daily life, when are you out in the sun intentionally? You might get in your car in the garage, drive out of the garage, drive down the road and maybe you're armed.
17:07
Maybe your arm is getting exposure or your face if the until you move the visor, right? So the reality is like we don't really get and and you know, I'm dressed business clothes.
17:23
You're you're not getting a lot of sun.

23 MINS LATER

40:04
Or you
12:14
Which again, I mean, you have, there's a lot of parts to these products that are in the market, right?
12:23
It's like making, in a way, an oven that can't handle running all the time because you're producing a lot of heat in these beds if you have a lot of LEDs.
12:35
And so the heat itself starts to be a problem if you're not managing that heat properly.
12:43
And that's what was happening with these other products.
12:45
It, you know, it's like anything else.
12:47
If you, if you design an oven for a home, that oven is going to run what up to a couple of times a day, three times.
12:56
I mean, you're not going to be using a, an oven 10 hours a day in a home, but in a commercial kitchen, you would be like, you're running this thing all the time.

24 MINS LATER

36:55
Or you
5:07
How did that came about? Why hydrogen? Walk us through understanding why it's important to drink hydrogen water.
5:16
First of all, I started with the hydrogen and understanding hydrogen and lecturing on hydrogen back in 2009, and so it was a long time ago now, [laughs] almost 17, 18 years ago, and everyone thought I was crazy.
5:32
And then two years later, a number of studies came out, and everyone said, "Oh, you're brilliant." So it just took me two years to go from being an idiot to being, uh, brilliant, right? So sometimes you just have to keep the course.
5:44
But I didn't have any understanding of hydrogen prior to beginning to do research.
5:51
So my wife was helped, and I was like, "Wait a minute.
5:56
What happened? Why did this help her?" And no one seemed to understand it, and so I wanted to do deep research on hydrogen and- What I came to understand is really what everyone needs to understand, and that is your body, my body, everyone's body is designed to create hydrogen gas internally.
6:17
So when we digest or ferment food in the colon, for example, just like a car has a tailpipe, we have a tailpipe, and when we convert things into energy, there is gases that are produced as a by-process.

23 MINS LATER

29:08
I feel things are changing we can't even scientifically yet prove.
5:41
Yeah, yeah,
5:42
exactly.
5:42
And I'm like, well, all I know is my wife would normally be bedbound, and she's functioning.
5:48
So...
5:49
This led me.
5:50
We get back off the cruise.
5:51
All I cared about.

16 MINS LATER

21:38
Sure, yeah, that was what would happen.
4:14
What is the difference between performance-based and the cheap LED devices flooding on Amazon? And how can consumers tell which is without a science degree?
4:27
It's actually really difficult because most of the red light products on Amazon or other places, they do not have a therapeutic level of red light.
4:41
In other words, it's called irradiance.
4:43
The irradiance of the light is the power or how bright the LEDs are.
4:50
And so in the Luminova products, we use a higher level of LEDs that have higher power so that they can actually penetrate and get into the body.
5:01
So many of the products on the market I just call Christmas tree lights because that's about what they are is Christmas tree lights being sold as therapy.
5:10
With the red light bed that we have, the Lumapod, it is the highest performing bed in the world as far as a red light bed goes.

7 MINS LATER

12:09
What question hosts ask you repeatedly that tells you how confused the general public still is about? Light therapy.
