And then I hired a bunch of people about, I want to say, well, and what's interesting too is, so we started this, thing in 89 we got published in 93 i got pregnant in 94 right when the book starts to like have a little bit of legs and said like oh crap what do i do yeah there was no way i was going to stay at home because i'd worked so hard and i also didn't know how i was going to tell jack hey by the way our book's finally taking off and we have all these plans and guess what i'm pregnant so i was really scared to tell him and i went in i'm like I'm pregnant.

He's like, that's amazing.

I had printed all these manuscripts and they were giving them out themselves to all these different publishers.

Still, everybody said no.

There was one, we actually had put our stuff in a booth at this event.

This guy's name was Peter Begso and he owned a small recovery publishing company and he did John Bradshaw's books.

He had something called US Journal Health Communications.

Right.

You know? So first do the math.

Second, work with people that have a track record that you can trust, and, and just get good at what you can talk about, because you can get paid to speak.

I mean, if it wasn't, if it wasn't for Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen being amazing speakers in the very beginning of Chicken Soup, that book never would've seen the light of day, and I mean that.

I mean, only 3% of people at the time went into a bookstore.

Although we had more bookstores than we do now, but still, you go into a bookstore, there's a book spine out, all you see is a spine.
