There was a massive credit card bill as a company credit card, which doesn't normally happen, was used to fund transfers, and that basically hamstrung the ownership as well as the manager when they first came in.

They also, I believe, were trying to hire Patrick Vieira as the Leeds United manager that summer before the sale went through, and they decided to go for Daniel Farke instead.

Now, that credit card bill has been cleared off by the current ownership and- Everything seems to be in a much more relaxed and stable place.
