So I'm kind of like the accidental publisher because I was a real estate broker until then.

Yeah.

First off, thank you for having me, and I'm honored to be with such amazing other talented folks here today.

Uh, what an amazing, uh, time to be here.

I don't know where to start other than to say that I believe there's 100 decisions that every author needs to make when writing and publishing a book, and unfortunately, most authors make about 15, 20, 30 decisions correctly, and they fail on about 80 of those decisions.

Things like testimonials, a world-class introduction that hooks the reader in, uh, front page inserts, back page inserts, exercises, stories, you know, promotion pages on the back of your book to promote what it is that you do as an author, speaker, coach.

So AI might get one of those 100 decisions correctly and fail on the other 99, so that's one reason that I don't like it.

Uh, Patrick, how about you? Do you, um, do you work a lot with memoirs or?

Why do I care? I mean,

you know.

That's about 25, maybe 26 years ago, I got my first $5,000 paid speaking engagement.

And I'll never forget this.

And this moment changed my life.

I think it was on Speaker Match or one of these speaker services.

And I mailed a signed copy of the book to the meeting planner.
